She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. At bat,  Holcombe  went 1-for-1 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and three  RBI, while  Thornton  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Baylie Arrington was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  hits. Another player making a difference was  Zoey Hall, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Heritage  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.
 Heritage pushed their record up to 10-1 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  at home. As for Covenant Academy,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-10.
 Heritage will venture away from home to  face off against St. Anne-Pacelli  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. St. Anne-Pacelli will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last. As for Covenant Academy, they will take on Windsor Academy at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
