Marion stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Nixon-Smiley, posting a 66-35 victory at home.
Meanwhile, even though Randolph scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, Great Hearts Northern Oaks still came out on top. Great Hearts Northern Oaks took down the Ro-Hawks 79-64. The win made it back-to-back wins for Great Hearts Northern Oaks.
Caden Collins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with six assists and two steals. He hasn't dropped below 17 points for six straight games. Ryan Matson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Marion is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Great Hearts Northern Oaks, their win bumped their record up to 17-11.
Marion came up short against the Griffins in their previous meeting back in January, falling 66-61. Can Marion avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
