Mount Pleasant has gone 6-1 against South Stanly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mount Pleasant Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls at 6:30 p.m. Mount Pleasant will be strutting in after a win while South Stanly will be coming in after a defeat.

Mount Pleasant will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Gray Stone Day, who they had gone 0-7-1 against in their eight prior meetings. Mount Pleasant came out on top against Gray Stone Day by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, South Stanly unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Albemarle on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Rowdy Rebel Bulls it sure didn't stay that way.

Mount Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for South Stanly, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Mount Pleasant's way against South Stanly in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Mount Pleasant made off with a 7-0 win. Will Mount Pleasant repeat their success, or does South Stanly have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
