It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lafayette had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Greenville Hornets as they made off with a 15-3 win. The Commodores might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Lafayette, bringing their record up to 20-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Greenville, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-13.

Lafayette will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
