Muenster is 6-1 against Nocona since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hornets will be playing at home against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Nocona will be up against a hot Muenster squad: the team just extended their winning streak to ten. Everything went the Hornets' way against Alvord on Monday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. That's two games straight that the Hornets have won by exactly ten runs.

Skyler Reed spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Muenster got a big performance out of Brynlee Berend, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Lilly Johnson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-5.
Meanwhile, while Nocona put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Era. The Indians put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 16-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won five in a row.
Reagan Phipps made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Phipps was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Heidi Atteberry was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Evelyn Marquez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
Nocona was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. They are 11-4 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Muenster's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-7-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Nocona, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Muenster hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .353. However, it's not like Nocona struggles in that department as they've averaged .418. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Muenster took their victory against Nocona in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
