The North Royalton Bears''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Wadsworth, falling 49-0. While losing is never fun, North Royalton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Wadsworth is ranked 25th).
Joe Kinney threw for 53 yards on five of 11 attempts. Andrew Jedacek was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards. On the ground, Cody Miller rushed for 32 yards.
North Royalton's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 10-2 Highland and 9-2 Hudson (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 75.9% over those games). As for Wadsworth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
