After six games on the road, Lapel is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Muncie Central Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lapel knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Muncie Central likes a good challenge.
Last Saturday, Lapel strolled past Mississinewa with points to spare, taking the game 61-44.
Lapel's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brode B judge, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which B judge has scored at least 25% of Lapel's points. Another player making a difference was Bode Judge, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Muncie Central lost a heartbreaker to Delta when they met back in December of 2021, and they left with a heavy heart again on Saturday.
