Calistoga has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Buckingham Charter Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Calistoga's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Calistoga scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Grace Christian Academy 79-39 at home. Calistoga has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 25 points or more this season.
Diego Perez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 32 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Oreo Infante, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Buckingham Charter escaped with a win on Saturday against Sacramento Adventist by the margin of a single free throw, 39-38. The win made it back-to-back wins for Buckingham Charter.
Calistoga pushed their record up to 14-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.33 points. As for Buckingham Charter, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.
