Delhi has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Delta Charter Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Tuesday, Delhi narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Tensas 59-57. Given Delhi's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Tensas is ranked 295th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jimmy Spruill was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Carter Dural, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Delta Charter, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 71-57 loss to Tensas on Friday. Delta Charter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
