The Batavia Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Wilmington Hurricane at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Batavia pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Clinton-Massie by a score of 65-62. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Saturday (55), Batavia still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Wilmington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. Their rough 70-44 defeat to Goshen might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wilmington in their matchups with Goshen: they've now lost eight in a row.
Batavia has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Wilmington, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-10.
