With a playoff win on the line, Bishop Kelley rose to the challenge on Saturday. They strolled past the Will Rogers College Ropers with points to spare, taking the game 66-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Comets also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

Bishop Kelley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anne Blankenship led the charge by shooting 52% from the field on her way to 27 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. What's more, Blankenship posted two blocks, the most she's had since back in January. Julia Grisaffe was another key player, putting up 17 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Bishop Kelley is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. Will Rogers College's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.

Bishop Kelley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 39-35 victory against Shawnee on the 7th. Will Rogers College does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
