Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Dollar Bay

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dollar Bay). They breezed by the Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes to the tune of 75-24 on Monday. The Bays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Liam Tourtillott, who went 12 for 20 on his way to 29 points and five rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Baron Colbert, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 19 points.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Lake Linden-Hubbell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dollar Bay will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Forest Park at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Lake Linden-Hubbell, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jeffers at 7:15 p.m. Lake Linden-Hubbell is facing Jeffers at the right time seeing as Jeffers is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
