If the School of the Ozarks Patriots were riding high off their 75-37 takedown of the Hurley Tigers on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. School of the Ozarks ended up on the wrong side of a rough 60-35 walloping at the hands of Blue Eye on Thursday. School of the Ozarks has not had much luck with Blue Eye recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, School of the Ozarks saw an underclassman step up: Timba Saffle scored 10 points. The matchup was Saffle's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Shadrach Thompson, who scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds.
School of the Ozarks' defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Blue Eye, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Exeter the next time they take the court. School of the Ozarks will head out to face Exeter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Blue Eye will host them at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th.
