The Crestview Bulldogs fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past Leon 39-14. That's another feather in the cap for Crestview, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Patrick Rodgers, who rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also picked up 52 receiving yards. Manwell Robinson also helped out as he racked up 133 rushing yards.
Crestview's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Leon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview will take on Fort Walton Beach at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Fort Walton Beach is ranked 216th, while Crestview is ranked 229th). As for Leon, they will be playing at home against New Smyrna Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
