Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jeremiah Benton stepped things up a notch to give Lincoln Charter the 'W'. Benton turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 142 yards and three scores, while also picking up 82 receiving yards and one touchdown. He is becoming a predictor of Lincoln Charter's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 0-4 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Benton and Lincoln Charter will challenge Community School of Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Benton will face off against Nixon Willis, the Spartans' star running back.
