They wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 10-4 walloping at the hands of the Dalhart Wolves.   Julia LaRue was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 18 batters over  six innings while giving up  six earned  (and four unearned) runs off   14  hits (and only one walk). LaRue has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive pitching appearances. LaRue was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run.
 In other batting news,  Ysenia Dones was cooking despite her team's loss,   getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Dimmitt's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16-1. As for Dalhart,  the  win  got them back to even at 10-10.
 Dimmitt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dalhart, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Shallowater at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams will come into the  contest having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
