Meridian has not had much luck with Northwest Rankin recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meridian's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 goals per game. As for Northwest Rankin, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meridian will face off against Philadelphia at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Philadelphia is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. Northwest Rankin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clinton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
