Baseball Recap: Vallivue Wins Going Away Against Columbia

After only two runs in their last contest, Vallivue made sure to put some runs up on the board against Columbia on Wednesday. The Falcons were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Wildcats. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

Cooper Crutcher made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aaron Rayo, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBI. Eli Daniel was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Vallivue's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Columbia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.

As of now, neither Vallivue nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
