Manual Arts had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 2-8 to make it 11. They lost  37-7 to the Santee Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  17-0  back in March.
As for Santee, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record  this season. Considering they have won five games by more than seven  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 For Santee's part,  Julissa Castillo was a standout: she fired off two  home runs, five  runs,  and two  stolen bases while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of  Annie Diaz, who  fired off two  home runs, five  runs,  and two  stolen bases while going 3-for-6.
