The Vista PEAK Prep Bison can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 101-41 win over Lincoln at home. Vista PEAK Prep's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vista PEAK Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than James Brown III, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Alante Monroe-Elazier, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Lincoln still got an impressive performance from Mahamud Jumale, who scored 23 points along with three steals. That was a full 56.1% of Lincoln's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Lincoln struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Vista PEAK Prep pulled down 21 offensive rebounds.
Vista PEAK Prep pushed their record up to 15-3 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lincoln, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vista PEAK Prep will take on the Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 16 matchups -- so hopefully the Bison like a good challenge. As for Lincoln, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Commanders at 7:30 p.m.
