After losing to the Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights the last time they met, Marian Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Marian Catholic came out on top against Wyoming Seminary College Prep by a score of 56-46 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Marian Catholic.
Marian Catholic had a senior duo take command as Jesse Rodino dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds and Jacob Miller scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Rodino set a new season high mark in points with 22. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Thomas, who scored eight points.
Marian Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Marian Catholic will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Shenandoah Valley at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Shenandoah Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Thursday. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Wyoming Valley West at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
