Attica made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,106 from 1,158. The improvement was the result of 42-24 victory over Argonia last week.
Dylan Moran made the biggest impact on defense this week as Cunningham defeated Norwich. The senior grabbed two interceptions and recorded one fumble.
Jordan Schaller was the most productive running back in Heart of the Plains (8 Man) this week. He ran for 167 yards on 11 carries as the Wildcats fell to the Wildcats. Teammate Nick Huhman added to the ground attack by rushing for 159 yards.
Peyton Yandel threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns. He went 17-24 with zero interceptions.
Depriest was the best wideout in the league this week as Norwich fell to Cunningham. Depriest racked up nine receptions for 126 yards. Daniel Behrens helped Norwich's passing attack out by catching two balls for 56 yards.
Lance McGuire's team's Huhman and Schaller have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Huhman has thrown for 676 yards this season, while Schaller has 17 catches for 349 yards. South Barber's Yandel leads the league in rushing yards with 540.
A big matchup in Heart of the Plains (8 Man) this week will be when the Wildcats take on Fairfield. As it stands, Cunningham is in fourth, while the Falcons are in second.
The Wildcats led the league in scoring this week after putting up 78 points on Lucas Schroeder's team. Huhman threw for 195 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
