Meanwhile, Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight loss. Their rough 46-26 loss to Austin might stick with them for a while. Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy has not had much luck with Austin recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Bowie's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
Bowie was able to grind out a solid victory over Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 33-21.
