Weeki Wachee had a senior duo take command as Isaac Priester dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds and Jean Garcia scored 19 points along with six steals. Garcia is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Matthew Hazivasilis was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Weeki Wachee's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14. As for Hernando, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
Weeki Wachee will be playing at home against Lecanto at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lecanto is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for Hernando, they will face off against Crystal River at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
