Westwood found their leader in underclassman Kavian Bryant, who scored 35 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Bryant is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Carter, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Fairfield's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Westwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.
Fairfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-62 defeat vs. Teague on the 9th. Westwood has also already played their next contest, a 72-53 loss against Franklin on the 9th.
