The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Belvidere North in their matchups with Belvidere: they've now lost three in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Belvidere North lost, one person who can't be blamed is Samantha Adams. Despite the final result, she scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Adams continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Haylee Gallas, who scored two points along with five steals.
Emma Pierson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Belvidere, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Pierson has scored at least a third of Belvidere's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arianna LaBeau, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Belvidere North dropped their record down to 3-19 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Belvidere, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
