Slippery Rock has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Ellwood City Wolverine at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Slippery Rock was the victim of a tough 71-45 defeat at the hands of General McLane. Slippery Rock has not had much luck with General McLane recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Ellwood City was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 42-41 to Hickory.
Despite their loss, Ellwood City saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Joseph Roth, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Aaron Lake, who scored 12 points.
West Middlesex's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Slippery Rock's loss dropped theirs to 0-1.
