Midlothian Heritage is 3-0 against the Owls since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Midlothian Heritage Jaguars will be playing at home against the Joshua Owls at 5:30 p.m. Midlothian Heritage will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Friday, Midlothian Heritage didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Yellowjackets, but they still walked away with a 39-33 victory. Given Midlothian Heritage's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 437th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Midlothian Heritage to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ivy Preusser, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Grace Sweeney, who scored ten points.
Even though Joshua has not done well against the Spartans recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Joshua came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 58-50.
Midlothian Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 24-10 record this season. As for Joshua, they now have a winning record of 17-16.
Midlothian Heritage strolled past the Owls in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 56-38. Will Midlothian Heritage repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
