Wesleyan is 3-0 against Dawson County since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Wesleyan Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dawson County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Wesleyan will be looking to keep their 22-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Wednesday, Wesleyan earned a 61-53 win over Galloway. Given Wesleyan's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while Galloway is ranked 35th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Dawson County aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Tuesday extended their overall winning streak to six. They walked away with a 63-51 win over White County.
Wesleyan's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Dawson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.
Everything went Wesleyan's way against Dawson County in their previous matchup back in January as Wesleyan made off with a 71-46 win. Will Wesleyan repeat their success, or does Dawson County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
