Salpointe Catholic found their leader in underclassman Ben Aronson, who scored 15 points along with 6 assists. Another player making a difference was Omar Rasul, who scored 13 points.
The last time Rio Rico won on the road was back last Friday. Having now lost three straight away contests, they've bumped their record down to 1-5. As for Salpointe Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Rio Rico won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Flowing Wells at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Flowing Wells is ranked 151st, while Rio Rico is ranked 163rd). As for Salpointe Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Brophy College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
