After a string of four wins, Tom Bean's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Ford Panthers by a score of 28-25. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tomcats have suffered since November 12th.

Tom Bean's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Vick, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Lind, who had four points in addition to seven boards and four blocks.

Tom Bean's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Ford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Tom Bean will square off against Honey Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ford, they will challenge Sunnyvale at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Sunnyvale's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Ford has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
