The North Springs Spartans''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. Their rough 32-7 loss to Centennial might stick with them for a while. North Springs lost against Centennial in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 38-6 score last time.
Kendell Hunt rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown. Jarquis Williams was his top target, picking up 67 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
North Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-6.
North Springs will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Kell at 7:30 p.m. Kell knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully North Springs likes a good challenge. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to face off against Northview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northview comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
