Lone Tree came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the WACO Warriors 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Lone Tree's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for WACO, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lone Tree will head out to face off against Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for WACO, they will face off against Louisa-Muscatine at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
