 Meanwhile,  North Andover played a tough  matchup  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Tewksbury Memorial 42-7. While losing is never fun, the Scarlet Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Redmen are ranked tenth).
 North Andover's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lowell, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
 Lowell was taken down by North Andover 41-14 in their previous matchup  back in September of 2019. That  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Red Raiders were down  35-7.
