The Rye Garnets had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 33-18 victory over Nyack. 33 seems to be a good number for Rye as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 7-1 Ardsley and 7-2 Clarkstown South (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 60.6% over those games). As for Nyack, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
