Basketball Recap: Bynum Skates Past Three Way with Ease

Bynum won the last time they faced Three Way and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bynum Bulldogs blew past Three Way 60-20. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Bynum to victory were Madi Westmoreland and Brooklyn Compean. Westmoreland posted seven points in addition to eight assists and eight steals, while Compean put up 17 points along with six boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave Westmoreland a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaedyn Degner, who had eight points and five rebounds.

Bynum is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.9 points per game. As for Three Way, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bynum will head out to challenge Blum at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Bynum's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Blum's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Three Way, they will head out on the road to take on Gorman at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
