Make it five blowout wins for the Carolina M Mustangs this season. They were the clear victor by a 60-36 margin over Emerson Waldorf. The win was just what Carolina M needed coming off of a 61-36 loss in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Abigail Faison, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Eliana Mah, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Carolina M is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Emerson Waldorf, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Cristo Rey Research Triangle the next time they take the court. Carolina M will host Cristo Rey Research Triangle at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Emerson Waldorf will host them at 3:00 p.m. on February 8th.
