The Ada-Borup Cougars put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Lake Park-Audubon as Ada-Borup made off with a 69-46 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ada-Borup also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Ada-Borup was led to victory by Mason Larson and Cameron Spaeth. Larson scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds, while Spaeth scored 16 points along with 5 assists. The game was Spaeth's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Charles Scholl, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
Ada-Borup's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lake Park-Audubon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ada-Borup will take on Win-E-Mac at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Win-E-Mac has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 308 points over their last four contests. As for Lake Park-Audubon, they will head out on the road to face off against Fertile-Beltrami at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
