The biggest upset of the week belonged to Murrah, who took down 50th ranked Murrah, 31-26. Cale Luke threw for 58 yards and one touchdown and ran for 59 yards in the win.
Madison Central was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in 6A Region 2. Earlier in the week, the Jaguars defeated Warren Central 50-28.
Carlisle Koestler threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns. He was 12-19 with one interceptions.
Malik Dear was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 164 yards on 20 carries as the Mustangs lost to Clinton. Teammate Alexander Price added to the ground attack by rushing for 31 yards.
Sanders was the best wideout in the league this week as Murrah lost to the Arrows. Sanders racked up four receptions for 113 yards. Marquis Wade helped Murrah's passing attack out by catching three balls for 48 yards.
Madison Central's Jake Schwartz and Keith Williams have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 6A Region 2 in both passing and receiving yards. Schwartz has thrown for 1344 yards this season, while Williams, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 36 catches for 702 yards. Zachary Grady's team's Dear leads the league in rushing yards with 701.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Vikings take on the Mustangs. Warren Central is in fourth place, while Murrah is in first place.
Clinton and the Mustangs played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Clinton eventually emerging with a 31-26 victory. Luke in the win.
