Lakes never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Grayslake North Knights, posting a 61-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven contests by 32 points or more so far this season.

Madeline Loar produced another solid performance throwing for 184 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 33 yards. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times she's played. Caroline Klimas was in the mix too, providing Lakes with two scores.

Lakes didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. It was a group effort, with six picking up one apiece. Joli Wiedrich got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Lakes pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.3 points on average over those games. As for Grayslake North, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Lakes has already played their next matchup, a 13-12 win against Glenbrook South on the 25th. As for Grayslake North, they will venture away from home to challenge Highland Park at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
