After both having extra time off, the Trinity Christian Trojans and the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on November 28th. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Friday, Trinity Christian took a serious blow against Rains, falling 62-26.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-33, which was the final score in McKinney Christian Academy's tilt against Coram Deo Academy on Friday. McKinney Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-15.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Emily Barnhill, who scored 12 points. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Massingale, who scored 8 points.
Their wins bumped Trinity Christian to 1-3 and Rains to 5-0.
Everything came up roses for Trinity Christian against McKinney Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2020 as the squad secured a 66-16 victory. Will Trinity Christian repeat their success, or does McKinney Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
