Bishop Manogue extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Sofia Jaferian. The Miners came out on top against the Reno Huskies by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Jaferian, who had ten digs and four aces. Jaferian is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Bishop Manogue walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-20, 17-25, 25-12, 29-27.

Bishop Manogue's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Reno, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Bishop Manogue has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Smith Valley on the 29th. As for Reno, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Escalon on the 29th.
