They blew past the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes, posting a 62-34 victory. Several Hurricanes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Colin Wood, who threw for 337 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.7 yards per attempt. Wood also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making ten total tackles and defending a pass. 90 of Wood's passing yards were hauled in by Logan Wood.
Southern Prep Academy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.5 points per game. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
