After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Enterprise brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Milford Tigers on Wednesday. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by eight runs or more this season.
Eric Phelps made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over 5.2 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Treyson Whitman was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Parker Staheli was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Enterprise kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Milford only managed two hits.
Enterprise's record now sits at 11-5. As for Milford, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-6.
