Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vancleave). Their defense stepped up to hand the Laurel Golden Tornadoes a 7-0 shutout on Friday. Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vancleave will head out to face off against East Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Central knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Vancleave likes a good challenge.
