They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 24-0 walloping at the hands of the Vikings. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, Southwest Guilford couldn't push the score so high this time.
One reason for the win was Northwest Guilford's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Leading the way was Austin Jackson and his two sacks.
Southwest Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Northwest Guilford, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
