The Skyline Thunderbirds will head out on the road to take on the Central Christian Cougars on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, Skyline came up short against Cunningham and fell 59-49. Skyline has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Central Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to South Barber.
Skyline has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-2 record this season. As for Central Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
Skyline beat Central Christian 65-58 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Skyline since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
