The Canyon View Falcons won the last time they faced the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Canyon View snuck past Crimson Cliffs with a 59-53 win.
Maylee Spencer was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Maya Nichols, who scored 13 points.
Despite the loss, Crimson Cliffs still got an impressive performance from Kenadee Richey , who scored 18 points along with 7 steals. Richey scored a full 34% of Crimson Cliffs' points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinsey Plewe, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals.
The win got Canyon View back to even at 1-1. As for Crimson Cliffs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Canyon View is on the road again on December 1st and play against North Sevier at 5:30 p.m. on December 1st. As for Crimson Cliffs, they will be playing at home against Beaver at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
