Suffern entered their tilt with Clarkstown North on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They secured a 62-58 W over the Clarkstown North Rams. Given the Mounties' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Rams are ranked 451st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Suffern's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Clarkstown North, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Suffern will face off against Spring Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Suffern knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Spring Valley likes a good challenge. As for Clarkstown North, they will head out on the road to challenge Walter Panas at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
