Hayley Brewer was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching eight innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
